As a director, he has achieved notable success with critically acclaimed stage productions, including Ola Rotimi's Hopes of the Living Dead, The Gods Are Not to Blame, Ovonramwen Nogbaisi, and Pedro Obaseki's Obaseki. He directed two landmark productions for Rivers State's Golden Jubilee celebrations: Miesoinumah Minimah's King Jaja of Opobo and Edward Imo's stage adaptation of Elechi Amadi's The Concubine.
