Ovunda Ihunwo is a trained Theatre artist who has made an inroad in the area of Events Management and Media Consultancy Services. He studied Theatre Arts in the University of Port Harcourt and has since bagged a Masters and Ph.D in Film Studies. He currently teaches Acting, Voice and Speech for the stage and screen in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, University of Port Harcourt. He has published scholarly articles in the area of acting and narrative film techniques in the Nigerian video film industry. He was National Vice President (South-South) of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) from 2010 – 2012 and has featured in a number of movies and television dramas. He also produced and presented a popular Television programme Pomp n Plain on CMTV and AIT. He is also a member of Director’s Guild of Nigeria (DGN).

 He is married to Nnenda and they are blessed with five girls; Chituga, Chidugam, Homasom and Jachi.
